What are cookies?

When you visit any website, it may store or retrieve information on your browser, mostly in the form of cookies. Cookies are text files with small pieces of data — like a username and password — that are used to identify your computer as you use a computer network. Specific cookies known as HTTP cookies are used to identify specific users and improve your web browsing experience. Data stored in a cookie is created by the server upon your connection. This data is labeled with an ID unique to you and your computer.
When the cookie is exchanged between your computer and the network server, the server reads the ID and knows what information to specifically serve to you.
This information might be about you, your preferences, or your device and is mostly used to make the site work as you expect it to. The information does not usually directly identify you, but it can give you a more personalized web experience. Some cookies and similar technologies will maintain Personal Data. Some do not.
However, if you change the settings to refuse cookies you may be unable to access certain parts of the site.

What types of cookies are used by our website?

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies. These are cookies that are needed to make the website work properly. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log in, use a shopping cart or make secure payments.
  • Analytical/performance cookies. They allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.
  • Functionality cookies. These are used to recognize you when you return to our website. This enables us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region). These also allow us to tell if you’ve left any products in your basket without checking out.
  • Targeting cookies. These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited, and the links you have followed. We will use this information to make our website relevant to your interests and for advertising and retargeting purposes. We may also share this information with third parties for this purpose.

Please note that third parties (including, for example, advertising networks and providers of external services like web traffic analysis services) may also use cookies, over which we have no control. These cookies are likely to be analytical/performance cookies or targeting cookies. You may opt-out of cookies set by specific entities by following instructions found at these links:

If you block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our site.

Please note that these opt-out mechanisms are specific to the device or browser on which they are exercised. Therefore, you will need to opt out of every browser and device that you use.

Please be aware that if you delete your cookies, two things will happen:

  • We will no longer know that you've opted out of online behavioral advertising, so our adverts will still appear to you on other websites.
  • We will no longer automatically recognize any website preferences that you have set.

How do we use IP addresses and cookies?

If you are only browsing Our website and have not logged in, We will not ask you to directly submit any Personal Data. However, certain information (which may be considered Personal Data) - including computer and connection information, browser type and version, operating system and platform details and the time of accessing the website – will be automatically collected. This technology helps Us to improve Our Site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. It helps Us:

  • To estimate Our audience size and usage pattern.
  • To store information about your preferences, and so allow Us to customize Our Site according to your individual interests.
  • To speed up your searches.
  • To recognize you when you return to Our Site.

We do use third-party cookies on our Sites, as well as the third-party provided web beacons. This is to help Us and our partners track your interests and make sure that any advertising content you may receive as a result of your visits to this site are relevant to your interests.

How We Respond to Do Not Track Requests

The major browsers have attempted to implement the draft “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) standard of the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”) in their latest releases. As this standard has not been finalized, Our sites are not compatible with DNT.  We do not recognize DNT instructions or any other automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms.
